Electrical Engineer - Power

Job description

  • Design electrical power systems for transport refrigeration and HVAC units
  • Identify and select electrical components such as motors, drives, contactors, fuses, and filters based on system requirements
  • Develop new components together with suppliers or participate in internal design
  • Prepare test plans to validate new system performance, support testing process, analyze and interpret results, complete documentation

Job requirements:

Essential

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical engineering
  • 3+ years engineering experience in electrical systems development
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Communicative English skills

Preferred

  • Power electronics or electric motors engineering background
  • Understanding of electrical components such as electric motors, drives, filters, etc.
  • Experience with power PCB design (Altium or other PCB design software)
  • Experience with EMC design, standards, and measurement
  • Knowledge of specifics of automotive or transport industry

Electrical Hardware Design Engineer

Job Description:

  • Design hardware for electrical systems for HVAC and Refrigeration units (controllers, IO modules, HMI, sensors, power electronics, etc.)
  • Select parts, evaluate functionality, design electrical circuits and PCB layouts based on system requirements
  • Prepare test plans to validate new device performance, support testing process, analyze and interpret results, complete
  • Work with system, software, and reliability engineers on integration and commissioning of new devices, support field trials

Job Requirements:

Essential

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical engineering
  • 2+ years engineering experience in hardware development
  • Ability to develop digital and/or analog circuits and design PCB layouts
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Communicative English skills

Preferred

  • Previously finished projects in Altium Designer
  • Knowledge of specifics of automotive and/or transport industry
  • Experience with EMC design, standards, and measurement
  • Experience with electrical, thermal, or EMC simulations

Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description:

  • Design, develop and validate control algorithms for real-time embedded systems of transport HVAC and refrigeration units
  • Work on controls of subsystems like electrical motors, inverters, sensors, valves, etc.
  • Prepare test plans to validate software performance, support testing process, analyze and interpret results, complete documentation
  • Work with system, hardware, and reliability engineers on the integration of new devices, support field trials

Job Requirements:

Essential

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical engineering
  • Knowledge of C and/or C++ programing language
  • Experience with programing of real-time embedded systems
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Communicative English skills

Preferred

  • Knowledge of STM, Texas Instruments, Atmel, or Freescale microcontrollers using real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS
  • Understanding of software development process and tools (version control, issues reporting, debugging, etc.)
  • Experience with requirements, system and software modeling (UML)
  • Experience with industrial & automotive communication protocols
  • (TCP/IP, CAN, WiFi, Bluetooth, SPI, I2C, etc.)

EMC Engineer

Job description

  • Take responsibilities in the EMC lab, participate in the preparation of long term strategy and manage lab development, coordinate new equipment acquisitions
  • Work with both internal and external customers, prepare and conduct EMC testing, analyze and interpret results, troubleshoot discovered EMC issues and propose possible solutions, complete reports
  • Run EMC and thermal simulations of PCB layouts, evaluate results and validate by testing, propose design changes

Job requirements:

  • 2+ years engineering experience related to EMC
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Communicative English skills

  • Experience with EMC design, standards, and measurement
